That’s right. It’s really “death to vinyl”.

UK company And Vinyly will press your cremated ashes into a vinyl record. For £3,000 you can get 30 ash-tastic albums. How? They actually sprinkle your remains onto the vinyl “puck” just before it gets molded into it’s familiar music-making shape by the stamper.

And what does one put on a record made of their cremated ashes? A message to their family, some stories, a will, or their favourite show tunes. Or maybe just creep everyone out and record 24 minutes of shallow breathing.

What would you put on yours?
