Brooklyn electronic pop producer Big Data (aka Alan Wilkis) is simply a music genius.

His upcoming debut album titled 2.0 (released March 24th) is not only a guest-loaded LP, featuring performances from Weezer leader Rivers Cuomo, Kiwi pop star Kimbra, Dragonette, Joywave and more, but it takes a deep look into how the internet has reshaped our human experience.

Best described as “paranoid pop” the album is an exploration of specific issues and moments between people and technology in this day and age. These are songs about love, connection, fear and belonging in a time where our biggest worries are the number of likes and friends we have on social media.  If you do one thing today, take a listen to Big Data. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Crossing our fingers this album will be on VINYL!

We are looking forward to checking them out at SXSW later this week as well as cover the show in Washington, DC on March 27th.
